Apex Legend launched on February 4 and the game has been out for two weeks and hits above 25 million players in its first week. Developer Respawn Entertainment released the second Apex Legend Update patch. The update is for every platform and is now live. Below are the details we know so far.
Generally, this patch addresses gameplay bugs and fixing crashes issues, mostly on consoles.
There are a few fixes on consoles. On Playstation 4, Respawn Entertainment addresses a GPU issue and fixed the crashing issue caused by hitting buttons on the loading process.
The Xbox One version of the game is getting a fix related to Gibraltar Epic skins crashing matches when equipped. Here are the full patch notes below.
Apex Legend Update Patch Notes, February 19, 2019
- PS4 crash issues.
- An issue with GPU hangs is fix.
- Fixed crashing issue when pressing button early in loading screens.
- Issue where players would sometimes move slowly after revive is fixed.
- Fixed issue with Mirage Ability causing crashes.
- Fixed issue with Gibraltar Epic skins on Xbox one causing crashes.
This patch mainly addresses improvements but the developers don’t address the community most requested fixes. There are bugs like unrealistic physics on supply ships. Which are not fixed yet but should be fixed by the first patch. One more issue is that players are kicked out of the servers during matches and in lobbies which should be fixed. Both of these bug fixes are the most requested by the community.
This patch don’t include any new content but there is a new gun coming today in Apex Legends.
